"Lilly-Bethesda is part of the overall Lilly Conference Series. For nearly 40 years, Lilly Conferences on College and University Teaching and Learning have provided opportunities for the presentation of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Faculty and administrators at various stages in their academic careers come from across the United States, representing nearly every discipline found in higher education." I was honored to be accepted to present at Lilly Bethesda Maryland (virtually due to Covid), May 28-30, 2020, with my amazing co-presenter Eileen Grodziak. My research "Creactive: Creative Process Before Technology", encompasses the importance of developing an active critical thinking process before technology implementation. The presentation showcased the "Creactive" development steps that I implement in my pedagogy, as well as data from a Guilford AUT study—which was completed in several of my design classes at PSU-LV, as well as a cross-site class at Moravian College. I plan to expound on this research in future posts. Until then, I just wanted to comment on this wonderful experience (my first conference presentation!)—grateful for the opportunity to present, learn and engage with amazing colleagues around the nation. #LillyConference #DesigningEffectiveTeaching #HigherEd Comments are closed.
