Last Friday, I was saddened, along with the entire world, to hear of the tragedy at Newtown. The unthinkable act of killing innocent school children and adults has affected everyone in an emotional or spiritual way. For some, it may be holding vigils, attending prayer service, gathering with friends and family, writing articles, blogging, tweeting, talking to neighbors, chatting with the grocery clerk, verbalizing thoughts and feelings – anything to express emotions and begin the very long journey of healing. For me, a visual artist and designer, my coping mechanism is to create, and that's what I did (see below), creating an identity that encompasses love, light, and healing – for the 26 brave souls that walked through heavens gate last Friday. Please feel free to socially share online, this blog, and the images – it is my small contribution to assist in this healing process. -CG © Christina Galbiati - You may use the contents of this blog and images solely for non-commercial and informational purposes only, If so, please credit author. Because this is so recent, and with the holiday and new year just a few days away, logistically - this may take some time to coordinate.
