project...

queried the future of print and digital media. I researched this topic and authored 8 books, and created over 70+ collage images. The series of books is presented in a custom designed acrylic case that I designed. (The book images and some samples of the illustrations are shown on the left.) Certainly, I could have used a combination of computer programs, Illustrator and Photoshop, to get the (almost) same desired visual effect, but I chose to create all of these images by hand. By juxtaposing my written findings in my book layouts, with a series of handmade paper collage images, I am highlighting the importance of print media despite the rapid progression of society's reliance on digital media.
