MUZO E-sports mural
I was commissioned to create a mural for Muzo (Muzo-works.com), they make "mobile, functional, adaptable furniture for the 21st century”; this mural subject was for their E-Sports line. This mural was installed in a showroom in their North American factory headquarters in northeastern Pennsylvania, USA.
I immersed myself in competitive e-sports gaming for the education industry in order to derive energetic geometric form and a bold color palette—which was inspired by the red and turquoise, the two main colors in this line—to complement Muzo’s contemporary aesthetic. The concept was inspired by historical design eras (futurism, vorticism) to reflect the technology focus and pay homage to their modern brand aesthetic. I created analog sketches and used Adobe Illustrator to create the final vector form, which was projected, then hand-painted in the space.
In addition to the main mural, I also installed a smaller mural in the back to visually tie together the entire room experience.
Much gratitude to Darren, Erika and the entire Muzo team for this opportunity.
